Come As You Are to Edgebrook These two gentlemen lived a life full of art, theatre, parties, and beautiful things. Richard was the painter, costume designer, and designed displays for JC Penney, while Joe was a hair stylist and make up artist, and they shared a love of old Hollywood, movies, and design, all while enjoying the love of their friends and family. Their eclectic taste spanned traditional to modern, Wedgwood to Remington. This estate boasts an enormous collection of movies, autographs and photos from Hollywood stars like Joan Crawford and Bette Davis, lots of decor and holiday items, mens clothing, Frederic Remington bronzes, crystal and brass chandeliers, plus original paintings by Richard. As they created many of the items in their home, the basement has art supplies, tools, and projects. DIRECTIONS AND PARKING: The sale is near Elston and Markham in Edgebrook. There is lots of street parking. There is some sewer work being done, so you will see a sign saying the road is closed to through traffic, but just past it. On weekends, you park in the temporary tow zones because there's no work being done.
